On Friday, May 19th, 2017 my wife received her Masters of Nursing degree from the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Congratulations love !! I'm truly proud of you and glad to support and celebrate your accolades. Her sister and husband came to provide cushion and assistance with my warm applause's and prolonged standing ovations. Congratulations love !! Yeah, she deserved so much more from me, like a BIG LATIN JAZZ BAND to kick off her pomp and all that jazz. Klazz Brothers comes to mind because of the classical look (like my wife) and the Latin jazz BIG SOUND (like my wife). It's like mixing two volatile chemicals and watching it fuse together and - wait for it ... BANG !!!!!!!!!! Classic meets Ecuador in this particular instance, however, I'm speaking about The Klazz Brothers from Cuba who's Cuban/Classical fusion is complex, exciting and daring with character ala German oomph. That's a real word with definition and it's a noun =) I present to you the Klazz Brothers & Cuban Percussion - Please visit the 5NINE3 Playlist and check out the 5 tracks I share with you from #51-55. You will love this group as much as any jazz enthusiasts does. The Klazz Brothers & Cuban Percussion: Kilian Forster - is solo bassist with and founder of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra. Tim Hahn - studied playing drums in Dresden, Rotterdam and Los Angeles. He took part in numerous master classes and workshops, such as at the Drummers Collective in New York and the Musician Institute in Los Angeles. Bruno Böhmer Camacho - in spite of his young age Bruno has exceled as one of the most eminent pianists in the Latin music scene in Germany. He is the grandson of the famous Colombian composer and promoter of Caribbean folklore, Angel Maria Camacho y Cano. In 2008 Bruno received a full scholarship for the Berkley School of Music in Boston. Since 2010 he is the new pianist of Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion. Alexis Herrera Estevez - was born in Guantánamo, home of the Cuban soneros, began to play percussion at the age of 8, took lessons at the music school and made such rapid progress that he soon gave lessons there himself, also playing in the city's concert orchestra. He gave concerts with Tito Puente, Chuchu Valdez and Arturo Sandoval, he has made recordings with Ketama, Luis Enrique, Ana Belen and was invited by the legendary guitarist of the Buena Vista Social Club, Compay Segundo. Elio Rodriguez Luis - was born in Camagüey, has been playing congas since his earliest childhood, already performing with diverse salsa and descarga bands during his days at school. He too has been member of the Havana Ensemble since 1997, an excellent conga player particularly famous for his vigorous sound and his fascinating drive. Bendiciones
